RB 15 – Partial closure Friedrichsdorf – Bad Homburg / Frankfurt Hbf from 18th August

Due to construction work on the platform underpass in Friedrichsdorf, RB15 will operate only to/from Friedrichsdorf from August 18th to October 19th 2025 (end of service). During the construction period, RB15 trains will start and end in Friedrichsdorf on track 1.
Passengers are advised to use S5 for travel to/from Bad Homburg or Frankfurt Main Station (Frankfurt Hbf).
Trains that normally run to/from Frankfurt Hbf will be suspended—except for the first scheduled train to/from Frankfurt.
All changes are reflected in the electronic timetable.
Additionally, in the afternoons during this period, there will be service disruptions from Friedrichsdorf towards Grävenwiesbach.

so that we can arrange onward transportation from Friedrichsdorf.

RB 12 – frequent cancellations between Frankfurt Höchst and Frankfurt Hbf

Due to an understaffed signal box, the RB 12 will only run between Königstein and Frankfurt Höchst between 20:00 and 23:50 until further notice (the Frankfurt Höchst – Frankfurt Hbf section will be omitted). Passengers can alternatively use the S1, the journey time is extended by around 10 minutes.

Due to this understaffing of the dispatchers at DB InfraGo, we are often unable to run between Frankfurt Höchst and Frankfurt Hbf, even at short notice. The safety, efficiency and coordination provided by the dispatcher are essential for the operation of trains. For this reason, we do not receive a driver’s license when shifts are not occupied. Passengers are asked to check the connection information in the RMVgo app or on rmv.de before setting off.
